Several researchers, faculty and students at the University of Washington and elsewhere receive expensive physical copies of academic journals from reputed sources that publish state of the art research results. To make these high-level, technical and cool discoveries more accessible to the broader community, we facilitate the collection and distribution of these journals to high schools. Our hope is that this would help inspire and empower our future STEM leaders! Here is how you can get involved:

  • If you are a teacher, student or other high school official who would like your classrooms to receive journals anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, we can either deliver them to you or media-mail them. Please use the form below to tell us an approximate number of journals you would like, and your location.
  • If you are a recipient of academic journals and would like to donate some, we at STEM Pals can facilitate their collection (pickup or delivery). Please use the form below to tell us the number of journals you can donate, and where we can collect them from.

In either case, we will get in touch with you to discuss scheduling! In lieu of the form below, you could email us at stementorship [at] uw.edu.
